It's been a YEAR!

OH MY!!!  I can't believe almost a full year has gone by since my last post...yikes!!!  I guess you could say after the birth of our newest edition, life got pretty busy AND a little crazy too! :)

Charlie Craig Cochran joined our family on November 15, 2011...we are complete!

Charlie was so kind to his mommy - it was a VERY easy labor!  Not one complaint from me and that's huge!  He wasn't the happiest baby at the beginning...a good dose of colic with a side of acid reflux...but after 3 months here on earth he got into his baby groove and turned into a fat, happy baby :)

Sam adores Charlie and is incredibly proud to be a big brother.  He is doing an amazing job!  He makes Charlie giggle, gives lots of hugs and kisses, and helps us give him a bath every night...Sam's job is wrapping him up in his towel so he stays "nice and toasty-roasty" :)  Gus was pretty indifferent about Charlie's arrival but in the recent months has really taken a liking to him because he is now eating food...and Charlie loves to share with Gus.  Craig and I have settled into being parents of 2 busy boys and are really enjoying this crazy ride.  Our boys are our world and we are so thankful for our beautiful family.

Here are a few photos of Charlies first few days with us...

Charlie Craig Cochran was born at Brigham & Woman's Hospital, Boston, MA on November 15, 2011 at 7:37am weighing 7.9 lbs and 20 inches long.

Mommy and Charlie's 1st snuggle :)

It was a long night but totally worth it!  We are so happy Charlie is HERE!

Sam and Charlie meeting each other for the first time...best moment ever!

Snug as a bug!

Checking on his little brother...

Last snooze at the hospital - time to go home today!

Big brother Sam came from pre-school to pick up his baby brother :)

Charlie isn't sure if he's ready to leave yet...

Settling in to his new home :)

But not sure if he likes it quite yet!

Trick or Treat!

We had a fun, candy filled Halloween this year!  Sam dressed up as Woody the Cowboy from his favorite movie, Toy Story.  We went back to the same street we always go to (Brook Street) where the street is completely blocked off (no cars allowed), the houses are completely decorated, and there are hundreds of kids running around - so much fun!!  Sam was ready to go home and count his candy after about an hour which worked out really well for me and my swollen, 9 month pregnant feet :)

Here are some pictures from our Halloween...

 There's my favorite cowboy!

My family :)  Probably the last photo as a family of 3!!

Off to Brook Street to trick or treat!

Not sure if he wants to go up those stairs, haha!

Quick candy break!

Harvest Festival!

We headed to the Harvest Festival a few weekends ago - what a fun day!  We met our friends there and the kids had a great time running from ride to ride...here are just a few pictures from our day :)

The slide was definitely a favorite!

The boys (from left, Kings, Sam, and Cole) LOVED the roller coaster!!!

The flying cars!

6 Years :)

On September 25th Craig and I celebrated 6 years of marriage...we're not quite sure where the time has gone but we feel incredibly blessed to have one another and such an amazing little family.

In about 3 weeks Craig, Sam, Gus and I will welcome our 2nd baby boy and we could not be happier :)  Our family will be complete!

A quick shot of me and my belly before our anniversary date...I am almost 33 weeks along here.

And I had to include this photo of my Gus...I picked up this Moses basket one morning after dropping Sam off at pre-school...I come home, put it on the couch, take a shower and come out to Gus taking a snooze in what he thinks is his new bed :)  Oh dear!  He's in a for another big surprise!

Sam's 1st day of Pre-School

Oh dear, I have been a horrible blogger lately...I'm so behind!!  I will blame pregnancy for that since all I want to do in the little free time that I do have is PUT MY FEET UP!  But I realized I needed to catch up a bit before our little guy arrives so here I go :)

Sam started his 1st year of pre-school this past September.  He goes 3 mornings a week and LOVES it!  He comes home singing songs and sharing all sorts of silly stories.  He is always so excited to share his artwork that he makes each day - our home is now covered in his adorable little creations :)
Here are a few snapshots of his orientation and first day...

At orientation the kiddos learn how to line up - this was fun to watch :)

Looks like he's being a good listener, huh?

1st trip out to the playground - can't miss Sam...look for the only blondie!

1st day of school :)  He was super excited!

And of course he had to show the camera his Spiderman "pack-pack" (that's back pack).

Summer trip to Michigan!

We love going to Michigan every summer to see our family!  Sam's favorite memory this year was his trip to the water park (Turtle Cove) with Grandma Jane, Mommy and Daddy.
On our way to swim!

He jumps right in and explores!

Down slide #1...
Swimming with Daddy in the kiddie pool.
Sam the fish!

Sam jumped off the side to Craig at least 100 times...no fear!

Lazy river :)
Grandma Jane swam with us too!
Hanging out with cousins :)
 mmm...ice cream with Conner :)

Sam found his Daddy's old Tigers helmet :)
