Easter

I am waaaay behind with this post!! 

I wanted to share just a few pictures from Easter this year.  Sam loved coloring his Easter eggs, a very messy but fun activity for him!  And on Easter morning Craig and I hosted a house Easter Egg Hung for all of the kids staying here - it was a blast watching the kids go wild looking for the candy filled eggs :) 

April Showers Bring May Flowers!

A few weeks ago we spent the afternoon planting seeds - flowers and herbs.  Sam picked out the pots he wanted to use and had a blast playing in the dirt and water!  The plants will live in the new greenhouse that was donated to the house last fall - it's beautiful!  You can see it in some of the pictures...

Sam is telling me all about the supplies we need to plant our seeds. 

The garden bed directly behind him will be full of delicious vegetables and flowers in a few weeks!  It is our house garden :)

His favorite part about our planting day was playing with the shovels! 

I forgot to take pictures of our finished product - I'll post some at a later date when our plants are in full bloom :)

Sam turns 3!!!

Sam started his birthday morning with breakfast of his choice - homemade chocolate chip waffles and strawberries.

At lunch time uncles, aunts, and cousins came over for a cake celebration :)  Sam picked a Toy Story theme this year.
