Sam's new favorite outdoor game - chasing his soccer ball! He is still learning how to kick the ball so we have been doing that part and then he chases it :) 
He is so proud of himself when he gets his hands on the ball and always shows us that he did it! Sam also loves running around the basketball court in our backyard (so convienent!) You can see our house in this picture too - the limestone straight ahead :)

This year we spent our Memorial Day in Kansas City and saw the Detroit Tigers play the Kansas City Royals. Sam's Uncle Derek, Aunt Sara, and cousin Connor gave him his very own Tigers jersey for his 1st birthday - Craig was so excited to put it on Sam for the game! It must have been good luck because the Tigers won 13-1 :) 
Sam found the old drunk men behind us to be very entertaining :)
Sam had a great day at the pool this weekend :) He quickly discovered the duckie slide in the kiddie pool and loved it! The water was freezing but that didn't stop Sam - he had a ball! I see many more pool days in our future...

And after about 10 seconds, he was ready to come out!
He was much more content running around in his diaper chasing his new soccer ball and picking flowers...we'll try the hippo pool again another day!
Sam occasionally enjoys watching Sesame Street IN my pot!
This keeps Sam busy for hours - it's wonderful :-)
